My First Infographic made with Piktochart
Review:
I used Piktochart to create my infographic. I chose Piktochart because they have a large variety of templates that can be used specifically to make an infographic. I like this feature because as I have never made an infographic before, it was easier to start with template rather than starting completely from scratch. However, Piktochart does offer a blank template for those who are looking to customize their infographic completely. Piktochart is a website and free app available in the iTunes store. I found no limitations while using this app, but there are many strengths. I love that there are so man resources within the app to use on your infographic. For example, there are hundreds (possibly thousands) of icons and images you can use to create a personalized infographic. Also, as I mentioned before, there are many templates on Piktochart to look at and get ideas from before you start a project. Piktochart is something that I would use in my classroom. Not only would I create infographics on this app to show my students, but I would have them use it to create something as well. This could be a good project option when I want to give my students a casual, formative assessment.
The description of Piktochart from the app store is:
